Paph fairrieanum

Found in the northeast corner of India.  Possibly also Southern China and Northern Bangladesh.  Species has long been used in hybridizing for its coloration and large dorsal.  Seedling from Paph fairrieanum tend to be very vigorous and easy to grow. There is a alba form of the species which green stipes and a green pouch over a white background.

Plant is generally easy to grow in culture, seems to like open well draining mixes. The alba forms for selfings of clones can be more difficult to grow.
