The following are pictures of recent awards of the RMRJC. They are published in this forum for information only to encourage judging participation and provide education of hybridizing trends and recognition of quality hybrids and species. All awards are provisional until published in the AOS Awards Quarterly and this information should be treated as preliminary.

Two flowers and eight buds on two inflorescences; sepals and petals rich amaranth purple, mottled darker purple; lip grape with brownish mask and slight waterfall effect; column white mottled purple; callus golden yellow; substance very hard; texture matte. Plant labelled 4N, size and substance of both leaves and flowers suggest that this is so.

One well-presented flower and one bud on one inflorescence; dorsal sepal and petals yellow, heavily overlaid carmine, with burgundy veining and margins edged with fine dark hairs; synsepal yellow with light carmine veining; pouch yellow with carmine overlay and veining; staminode yellow with carmine pubescence; substance average; texture sparkling.
