Multifloral Hybrids:
One of the most beautiful multifloral blooms we have seen was a clone of this grown by Frank Hughes. Flowers have a husky, flat stance, with creamy yellow color overlaid with chocolate brown stripes and marks. This sometimes flowers better than Paph. Lebeau (Transvaal x rothschildianum).
This pairing was first made by Frank Hughes. The best ones are like a huge Paph. Berenice, with the Paph. lowii coloration dominant. To us this is one of the best multifloral hybrids.
The pod parent is a beautiful butterscotch gold, and ofPaph. sanderainum heritage. This cross was made for large size, bold color, and long petals.
Paph. Julius hybrids are very rare. This cross is essentially line-bred Paph. rothschildianum, with the injection of Paph. lowii color.
Similar to CA8119, but with colors more crisply brown and black on a white base.
This is among the first of the second-generation Paph. sanderianum hybrids. The big goal is petals, both long and wide.
These should be compact growers, with medium size, long-petalled flowers which have burgundy and cinnamon highlighted color.
This is a cross we have waited a long time for. It is a complex multifloral combination, and we are excited to offer our first hybrid from Paph. Robert Jameson for of its bright color, and spectacular spike habit.
This is a rare remake of a very famous cross originally made by The Orchid House. Not only are the flowers beautiful, but Paph.0so Chief has proven itself in breeding as well. The seedlings are highly variable in leaf patterning, as this is something of a novel multifloral, and we expect a range of form and color.
